Why

So why are we farming magic metal?

The answer is pretty simple, mostly it's for buying epic limit breaking hammers from the milage shop (you can buy 3 every 2 weeks at a cost of 1500 milage each)

This is going to be the main reason to farm magic metal, and it's the way you get your weapons maxed out (to get the hero's maxed out is a little more straightforward, you just summon and farm evolution/myth evolution to get hero crystals)

It takes 6 limit breaks to max limit break and engrave a weapon, you can get 1 per 2 weeks from the gem shop at a high cost of 5000 gems, you can get 1 per 2 weeks from the milage shop with 150 milage (which is also a very high cost, not worth it unless you already have every weapon in the game) and there's often one available "for free" in the events. So typically you can get a max of 6 or 7 but more often 4 or 5 epic hammers every 2 weeks, 3 of which are from magic metal.

Additionally Magic metal has some monthly purchases, you should *always* buy the 300 magic metal epic weapon box (gives you a random epic weapon) and *usually* you should buy the 5 legendary weapon boxes for 100 MM each, and the 10 option change stones for 30 magic metal. Additionally you probably should buy the 1000 magic metal epic accessory box.

So in addition to hammers you want 1000+300+500+300 = 2100 magic metal monthly on top of the amount you spend on hammers

That means you need (in a typical month)

2100 + 1500 x 6 = 11100, with an additional 4500 being needed when the 3rd two week period falls in the same month.

How

So to farm magic metal you need to 'extract' 5 star items (from the inventory screen), normal 5 star items are 30 magic metal each, which means you need 50 of them to get 1 hammer, or about 400 per month.

To get these items you should take some simple steps:
1. Spend excess stamina in the gold dungeon, if you don't have a hero to farm evo or myth evo crystals for, or a weapon to gather red crystals for, gold dungeon is the way to go. Ideally you'll at least spend 100 stamina every day on gold dungeon unless you're farming evolution crystals
2. Turn 1 and 2 star items into 3 star items with mystery evolution. Use the settings in the 'auto mystery evolution' screen to make this faster.
3. Use "Normal" evolution to evolve 3 and 4 star items to 5 star, (this costs a ton of gold, this is why you are farming the gold dungeon)

If you end up with an excess of 3 star items and no gold you can mystery evolve some of them from 3 to 4 until you catch back up to pretty much even, but that's rare unless you've been farming a ton of red shard and not much gold dugeon.

If you end up with a ton of gold and no items to evolve you can spend some etxtra stamina on item dungeon (or red shard dungeon) until you catch back up, this typically only happens if you get some kind of major gold reward from some external source.

You can also get some extra gold by spending your festival coins on merch upgraders, buying some level 1 merch from the tetis store and upgrading those and selling them (from your inventory screen) it takes about 50k to upgrade on1 and you can sell it for about 300k so you can make about 250k per 16 merch upgrader.

You should also spend some of your gems to get extra stamina, but not a lot, a max of 2 or 3 times per day is recommended (it gets progressively more expensive to get more stamina with gems on the same day, so you should limit the amount you purchase daily)
